Know exactly what your roof is up to

You can't see your own roof, and that information gap is where expensive surprises live. A proper inspection closes it — whether you're buying a house, planning a budget, or just tired of wondering what that stain on the ceiling means.

Who books a roof survey

House buyers are our most frequent callers — a general homebuyer's survey usually just says "roof could not be fully inspected," which is no help when you're about to spend half a million pounds. We put a drone and an experienced roofer's eye over every slope and give you a report you can negotiate with. Sellers use us to fix small issues before they become survey red flags. Landlords and block managers book annual checks. And plenty of homeowners simply want a straight answer: how long has my roof got?

What an inspection covers

Every survey looks at coverings (condition, slippage, porosity), ridges and hips, flashings and leadwork, valleys, chimney condition, gutters and roofline, and — where there's access — the loft: felt condition, timber health, signs of leaks, condensation and ventilation. Drone imagery captures every slope in high resolution, including the bits no ladder reaches safely. You get it all in a plain-English photo report: what's fine, what needs watching, what needs doing, and roughly what each item costs.

Genuinely independent advice

An inspection with us is not a sales pitch with a ladder. Plenty of our reports conclude "your roof is fine, see you in five years" — and if work is needed, the report is yours to take to any roofer you like. We simply find that when people see honest photos and clear pricing, they tend to come back to us anyway. If your roof's showing symptoms already, our free online roof health check is a sensible first step before booking.

What it costs: Drone surveys with photo report from £150; full physical inspections from £250. Fee refunded against any work we quote and carry out. Every job gets a fixed written quote before we start.
